We put the units in and they looked fine. Then the fridge finally arrived and we felt that we could balance the kitchen a little more by shuffling the tall units around a little. The new, final, plan is this...

By moving the 300 units from next to the cooker to next to the fridge we have
balanced the kitchen up a bit, and given more space around the sinks.

We managed to order the wrong drawer units for the island hob. 600 wide instead of 500.
This made the whole island too big. The 300 pull out cabinets had always been a
bit of a compromise, so we cut them in half to regain the space. The result is
actually nearer to our original ideas than the previous plan...
