Doors 23rd September 2001 Back to the project diary

The doors took a while to paint, and there were lots of them. The actual spraying didn't take that long, it was the preparation and the delays required between coats of paint... Still, they're all complete now and the time between coats was used to get the frames painted. Originally we were going to leave the doors without handles and have push catches. Thoughts of grubby finger marks means that we'll be fitting handles real soon now... The top three pictures are the entrance hall, the bottom two are the services cupboard.
